THE STORY OF SERAGLIO
In the heart of the old town of the magnificent Istanbul, you will find the charming little Hotel.
Seraglio Hotel is made of two buildings connected to each other at the entrance floor with a small and cozy inner courtyard.
One side of the hotel there is a cafe attached to the Hotel which has seating areas in & out for our guest to relax and chill after exploring the city of Istanbul.

Everyday there is a complimentary tea time that our team would love our guests to join our family. We also have a rooftop terrace with amazing sea and blue mosque view...
The other side of the Hotel we have the main entrance and Reception which is open 7/24; we will be there for you all the time...

The town house built in 1938 and just refurbished into our hotel was home to my grandparents. My father and aunt grew here.
Years later, I have studied Hospitality and Hotel Management and now run our little hotel. Hotel Seraglio is decorated with personal touches of my family. My aunt Semra’s ceramics and my mother Guler’s oil paintings dress our walls. My father’s(Prof.Yilmaz) perfectionist character ; sister’s criticisms also helped while decorating the hotel.
In the project, we paid special attention to retain the character of the old house.
At 2010 refurbishing was over, the hotel has 14 tastefully and comfortably decorated rooms in different categories.
Proud to be third generation in the neighborhood, which once was the center of Byzantine and Ottoman Empires, our objective is to give our guests the impression of a large home, rather than a public place.

Seraglio enjoys an excellent location, being within a stone’s throw of Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque among other historical sights.

About Seraglio Suites:
During 2015 we have decided to add Seraglio Suites to our facility and finally at the end of 2017 refurbishing was over again....
​
Another historical and also wooden building on the same street with the exisisting Hotel....
​
Seraglio Suites is made of 4 suites, has a private entrance which is across the street from the Seraglio Hotel(just 10-15 meters).
Guest can still call the reception by just dialing ''0'' any time for any needs.There is only one suite at each floor.
​
Each suite may accommodate up to 5 people which we thought that would be a great choice families or groups.
